Irina Rumyantseva is a multidisciplinary UK-based artist, born in St Petersburg, Russia in 1983. She studied art and design in St Petersburg and gained a master’s-level qualification before relocating to Manchester in 2009. Since then, Irina has developed a distinctive artistic voice characterised by her daring colour palette, layered textures, and use of mixed materials often combining acrylic paint with collage, found objects, and resin. Her style is deeply informed by her Russian training and by her love of travel; she describes her creative process as intuitive rather than planned, drawing on emotions, memories, and sensory experiences for inspiration. Over the years, Irina has exhibited her work across Europe, built a global following, and become a respected independent artist. She also accepts commissions, creating made-to-order paintings tailored to a customer’s preferred size, colour, and subject matter.
